Function

  • Connection to Boxes and Enclosures: EMT set screw connectors are commonly used to terminate EMT conduit runs into steel outlet boxes, load centers, or other metal enclosures.
  • They secure the conduit to the knockout of the box.
  • A locknut is often included to secure the connection further.
  • Joining EMT Conduit: Set screw couplings are used to join two pieces of EMT conduit together. They allow for extending the raceway or bridging gaps between conduit ends.
